Hey there, and welcome!
I'm Nicole Denise founder of House of 128. December of 2022 I opened up a small boutique + gift shop online, House of 128. House of 128 means a lot to me, despite having a few hiccups in my career and not knowing what I wanted to do - however, this called to me. It made my heart sing. I just knew being a business owner was my calling- this is my home. A brand that inspires creativity, goals and a unique style.
In fact,128 even has a special meaning to me.
I've struggled with anxiety for most of my life, even as a child, but more so as an adult. About 5 years ago, I found myself sitting alone in my car near Dunkin Donuts. Crying my eyes out worried about the future, worried about not giving my kids the best future they deserve. No, not suicidal but just very sad. It's something that I wish I could explain. But what I found interesting is that this number (128) kept showing up in times of my stress and my worries. Every time I looked at the clock it said 1:28, looked at magazine 128, seen some ones license plate 128... etc. So this number, to me means don't give up. My children mean the absolute world to me and yes while I stress about failing them, I also try to push myself to do better and be better for them.
With that I say, be you and push for your goals despite the insecurities, despite the hate, just go DO YOU BABE!
